Terms and Conditions: Hopper Drop January — Cash Back

Hopper’s “Hopper Drop January - Cash Back” promotion (“Hopper Drop”) enables you to receive a cash back amount that matches Hopper’s promotional deals. Hopper Drop is subject to the following requirements and restrictions:

  1. Cash Back offers are only valid during the promotion window (4 days per destination, as reflected on the timer and calendar of the page) and while supplies last, as reflected on the Hopper Drop page in the Hopper app.

When an offer reaches the end, the destination will be marked as “Almost Gone” and when a destination is sold out, it will be marked as “Sold Out” on the Hopper Drop page. Please check the status page for Hopper Drop offers prior to completing your booking.

  1. Hopper Drop offers are only valid and available on round-trip flights with a US or Canadian origin airport matching the specified criteria (“Qualified Booking”).
  2. All prices and offers are in USD.
  3. Hopper Drop offers will be valid during periods of 96 hours (4 days) per destination, as reflected on the timer and calendar on the Hopper Drop page.
  4. Following a Qualified Booking completed on a destination with an active Hopper Drop, the Cash Back will be processed within 10 business days. The cash back will either be refunded directly to the credit card used when purchasing the trip or sent via PayPal to the email used when purchasing the trip. For Cash Back provided by PayPal, you must have a PayPal account associated with your email address in order to receive the Cash Back. If you do not have one, you will have the opportunity to create a PayPal account.
  5. Cash Back offers cannot be combined with Price Freeze. If you freeze a Hopper price during a Hopper Drop active offer and book it on the same day or later, the cash back offer will not apply.
  6. Cash Back offers cannot be combined with a Cancel For any Reason (“CFAR”) plan. If you purchase a CFAR plan in connection with a Qualified Booking, the amount that you are entitled to in the event of cancellation will be calculated based on the amount of the booking after any Hopper Drop refund is provided.
  7. Cash Back offers for hotels are only valid for hotels paid for directly in the Hopper app. Cash Back offers are not valid on “pay at the hotel” inventory.
  8. Each user can only claim the Cash Back offer once per destination. The Cash Back offer is on a transaction basis. It can only be claimed once per transaction, no matter how many passengers are on the ticket.
  9. Hopper will only refund up to the totality of the price paid by the user. If a user booked a $30 flight, they could only get $30 cash back, even if the Cash Back offer is more.
